How much does it cost to use NowClinic® online care?
The cost will vary and be dependent on a variety of factors. The standard 10-minute doctor's visit costs only $45, payable with a major debit or credit card. After the first 10 minutes, your provider has the option of extending the visit for another three minutes to wrap up, at no additional cost to you. However, the vast majority of visits are completed within the ten-minute time frame. The cost for a NowClinic visit is the same whether online1 or by phone, and regardless of the time of day or day of the week.
How do I pay for a NowClinic visit?
Paying is simple and will be done at the time of your visit. NowClinic accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover) and some debit cards. Debit cards must have a major credit card logo and must not require a PIN number for use.2
If you do not have a credit card or acceptable debit card, you may be able to use a prepaid debit card purchased from a retail store. The purchased prepaid debit card must be one that you register online or by phone with your name and address and then activate.
Does NowClinic online care accept my insurance?
Services provided via NowClinic online care are not submitted by NowClinic to any private or public health insurance/health plan company for payment on your behalf. Payment for NowClinic services does not cover pharmacy charges; you must pay for prescriptions (if any) seperately. No controlled substances can be prescribed. Other prescriptions may be available where clinically appropriate and permitted by law.
The services provided via NowClinic online care may be a covered service under your health plan. Please contact your health insurance provider to inquire.
